Milk truck crash closes highway for four hours

JUDA - A Brodhead man was injured when his milk truck overturned at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of County S and Wisconsin 11.

William M. Leutenegger, 60, was driving a semi hauling a milk tanker and was attempting to make left turn onto County S from Wis. 69 when the milk shifted. The rear axle lifted up off the road and the vehicle flipped onto its side.

Leutenegger sustained injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The vehicle and tanker received extensive damage.

County S was closed for four hours due to the crash.

Green County Emergency Medical Service, the Juda Fire Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
