Michael Patrick Bartley, age 66, passed away on Monday, December 12th, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 14, 1945 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, son of Lesley and Shirley Bartley. He was married to Donna Elliott on September 16, 1989.
Mike attended school in Bloomington, Wisconsin and served in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam from 1965-1968. He received the Presidential Unit Citation and Vietnamese Service Medal. Mike worked most of his life in body shop management. He enjoyed traveling to visit family, and watching NFL and NASCAR. He was a member of the Congregational UCC Church in Brodhead. Mike was an active AA Member and attended national gatherings. His pal was his black lab named Lucky.
He is survived by his wife Donna, a stepson Steven (Janell) Sacharski, a brother, John Bartley, a sister, Lesley, three stepchildren, Robin (Jerry) Kempfer, John Bradley Elliot, Scott Robert Elliot, one step-grandchild, Riley John Elliot, and a niece, Louise Ebben. He was preceded in death by his parents.
