BRODHEAD - Michael A. Reavis Jr. age 50, of Brodhead, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the U.W. Hospital, Madison, WI. He was born on October 22, 1965 in Monroe, WI, the son of Michael and Marie (Frie) Reavis Sr. He married Patti Snyder on July 11, 1997 in Brodhead.
Mike graduated from Brodhead High School in 1984. He worked for Industrial Combustion of Monroe, WI. Mike loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors and with family.
He is survived by his wife Patti, Brodhead; a son, Shane Reavis, Brodhead; two step-children, Cody Saunders, Beloit, WI and Caitlyn Saunders, Madison, WI; two sisters, Bobette (Mark) McGinty and Dani Gierhart, both of Brodhead; step mother, Joy Reavis, Brodhead; step-brothers, Jim, Kim and Jeff (Roxie) Paul, all of Monroe; mother-in-law, Shirley Snyder, Beloit; in-laws, Deb and Stan Luety, Dawn and Mike Banker, Ralph Snyder, all of Beloit, Diane Mecca, Modesto, CA, Chris Snyder and Michelle Hendricks, both of Brodhead, and 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Brodhead, with Rev. David Frey officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 20, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI. A memorial fund will be established.
