JUDA - Michael A. Bliss, age 54, of Juda, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012, at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, IL, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on August 6, 1958 in Las Vegas, NV, the son of Leslie and Delores (Bue) Bliss.
Michael was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Dolores Shanks, Juda; three sons, Michael (Stephanie) Dunn, NY, Tony and Nicholas Bliss, both of MI; a sister, Leslie (Randy) McKillip, Brodhead; four brothers, Steve (Kay) Bliss, Darlington, WI, Anthony (Donna) Bliss, Napanee, IN, Billy Jo Bliss, OK, Dana (Malisa) Shanks, Brodhead; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Paul, and paternal grandmother, Francis Bliss.
A gathering will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 25, at the Rock County Sugar River Park, 11317 S. Nelson Rd., Brodhead, with a luncheon following at The Silver Dollar Restaurant, Brodhead.
