Marie Mensik, formerly of Pomeroy, Washington, passed away on January 28, 2014 at the age of 88. Marie Emma Leemman was born on September 22, 1925 in New York, New York and maintained a New York accent all her life. She married Fred Mensik, a salesman for Regal Textile on February 8, 1948 and moved to Dallas Texas, where their children, Marie and Fred were born.
