Margaret A. Haldiman, age 94 of Monroe, died Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. Clare Friedensheim. She was born on June 15, 1921 in Monroe, the daughter of Peter and Alma (Schneider) Hasler. Margaret married Edwin J. Haldiman on November 15, 1942 at St. Johns United Church of Christ.

She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, A 50 year member of The Women of the Moose, Chapter 599, where she served in many offices and was part of the Academy of Friendship and the College of Regents; former member of the GUGG, and the Garden Club of Monroe. She enjoyed playing cards, ceramics, painting and doing embroidery.

She is survived by her sons: Eugene (Roberta) Haldiman of South Wayne and Keith (Patricia) Haldiman of Hilbert, WI; a daughter, Linda (Clinton) Tarpley of Byron, IL; a sister-in-law, Colleen Hasler of Monroe; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Peter Hasler, 2 sisters, Mildred Grossen and Rosie Hasler.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September, 3 2015 at St. Johns United Church of Christ, with Reverend Todd Hackman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home, with a Women of the Moose service at 7:00 pm.
