MONROE - A 23-year-old Texas man was cited Monday, June 4, for failing to obtain a vendor permit to sell satellite TV services door-to-door.
Nickalos H. Lancaster, College Station, Texas, was attempting to sell Dish Network and DirecTV subscriptions through the Utah-based company Satton Marketing but had no permit to do so, according to Monroe police.
Officers cited Lancaster after responding to a complaint in the 2200 block of Haven Lane at 5:42 p.m. that unauthorized people were going door-to-door in the neighborhood.
Lancaster was the only suspect located. A search of police records revealed Brodhead officers warned him May 29 for unauthorized door-to-door vending.
