DARLINGTON - Daniel Aguilar-Guevara, 39, Darlington, was arrested for endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct Aug. 14 after he brought a gun to a tavern.
Police report Aguilar-Guevara was arrested following an investigation of a fight that took place at about 2:30 a.m. at a tavern on Main Street. Aguilar-Guevara allegedly fondled some women at the bar and a fight resulted, according to police.
After the fight, he returned to the tavern with a handgun. Police report the gun was not used, but Aguilar-Guevara threw some bullets at a tavern employee.
Aguilar-Guevara was jailed. He was turned over to United States immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation proceedings.
The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
