Louise Jean Wild, age 84, of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at LeHigh Acres Health & Rehabilitation Center in Florida. She was born on September 30, 1931 in Monroe, the daughter of Jesse and Hilda (Ruegsegger) Beach and graduated from Monroe High School.
Louise and Kenneth Wild were married on December 22, 1950 at St. John's United Church of Christ. Louise farmed in the Green County area with her husband Kenneth. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children: Robert (Margaret) Wild of Conway, SC, and Carol (Michael) Braswell of LeHigh Acres, FL; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Duane (Rose) Beach of Monroe, Rolland Beach of Southside, AL, Nathan (Mary) Beach of Freeport, IL; sister, Dorothy Block of Monroe.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband, Kenneth, sister, Ella Burington, twin sisters in infancy, Margaret and Marian Beach.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at St. John's United Church of Christ, with Reverend Todd Hackman officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1st, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr. and 18th, in Monroe. Memorials may be given in Louise's name to St. John's United Church of Christ.
