This Hazel Green ambulance was heavily damaged in a crash in Jamestown Wednesday afternoon.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON —  On June 8:

♦  A one-vehicle crash was reported at 12:16 p.m. on Hale Lane, Fayette Township. John T. Pounder, 63, Delavan, was traveling on County F and slowed down to turn onto Hale Lane when he failed to negotiate the turn, striking a sign. Pounder’s semi sustained minor damage.

♦  Minor injuries were reported during a one-vehicle rollover at 10:44 p.m. on County O in White Oak Springs Township. Aaron T. Rowell, 25, Hanover, Illinois, was traveling on County O when he failed to negotiate a turn, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway, roll over and come to a rest in a corn field. Rowell’s 2005 Volkswagen sustained severe damage and was towed. Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS assisted.

On June 9:

♦  A deputy responded at 7:18 p.m. to Wis. 11, Gratiot Township, for a one-vehicle accident.

♦  No injuries were reported when Uschi S. Windisch, 26, Switzerland, struck a deer at 8:57 p.m. on Wis. 81, Elk Grove Township. The 2018 Nissan sustained severe damage and was towed.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — On June 3:

♦  A traffic crash was reported at 3:54 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. Due to this incident occurring on private property, no citations were issued.
