Monroe Police 

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a three-vehicle crash at 9:39 p.m. Jan 8 in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West. Dennis E. Beutel, 51, Monroe, was operating in a parking area when he slid on ice and hit two unoccupied parked vehicles. He was arrested on a fourth-offense charge of operating under the influence, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was also cited for reckless driving. He was jailed.  

 

Lafayette County Sheriff 

DARLINGTON — Eleanor E. Landau, 80, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 8:34 p.m. Jan. 3 on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. Her 2013 Lexus sustained minor damage. 

On Jan. 4: 

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 12:35 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington. Brodi W. Lindsay, 19, Cuba City, crossed the center line and hit a vehicle operated by Jacob A. Clayton, 30, Darlington. Both vehicles sustained severe damage. They were towed. Lindsay was cited for driving left of center. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS assisted. 

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 4:56 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. Dagoberto Valladares-Flores, 22, Darlington, lost control of his vehicle, exited the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled onto its side. His 2005 Chevrolet sustained severe damage. It was towed. South Wayne First Response, South Wayne Fire Department and Green County EMS assisted. 

●  Ronnie L. Hicks, 52, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:36 p.m. on Short Cut Road, Town of Willow Springs. His 2004 Chevrolet, owned by Reilly’s Plumbing and Heating, sustained minor damage.\

On Jan. 6: 

●  Laurie A. Martin, 54, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 7:16 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. Her 2017 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. 

●  Mark J. Donar, 56, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 7:13 p.m. on Twin Bridge Road, Town of New Diggings. His 2014 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage. 

On Jan. 7: 

●  Amanda M. Williams, 41, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 5:35 p.m. on Hilldale Road, Town of New Diggings. Her 2019 Kia sustained minor damage. 

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 6:56 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont. Upon police arrival, the vehicle was unoccupied. The owner, Michael E. Reuter, 66, Platteville, was cited for failure to maintain control. 

●  Robert C. Cook, 61, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer at 12:59 a.m. Jan. 8 on Wis. 11 in Benton. His 2011 Chevrolet sustained minor damage. 

●  No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at 7:06 p.m. Jan. 9 on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Noe Hernandez, 33, Prairie Du Chien, was southbound when he lost control of his vehicle, entered the ditch and hit a sign. His 2007 Buick sustained moderate damage. It was towed. He was cited for driving without a license and no vehicle insurance.
