Monroe Police

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 5:29 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 2500 block of 13th Street. Shane A. Chesebro, 39, Monroe, was westbound and collided with a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle and trailer, causing his vehicle to overturn. Both vehicles and the trailer sustained severe damage. They were towed. Chesebro was cited for inattentive driving.

●  A two-vehicle accident with road blockage was reported at 11:44 a.m. Dec. 9 in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West at the Wis. 11 interchange. A Ford SUV driven by a Monroe man, 74, collided with a Ford pickup truck pulling a trailer and driven by a rural Albany man, 75. One person was transported by ambulance for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. No citation information or names were released, pending an ongoing investigation.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle crash at 9:06 a.m. Dec. 7 in the Town of Clarno. Michael L. Schuetz, 56, Monroe, was traveling in the N2000 block of Haddinger Road when his vehicle sustained a mechanical issue, exited the roadway and collided with a fence. The vehicle sustained damage. It was towed.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Nov. 30:

●  Brianna E. Henthorn, 25, South Beloit, Illinois, reported hitting a deer at 6:40 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. Her 2007 Toyota sustained severe damage. It was towed.

●  Jared T. Knapp, Gratiot, reported hitting a deer at 4:56 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. His 2019 Honda sustained moderate damage.

On Dec. 2:

●  Lynn M. Eaton, 56, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 4:17 a.m. on County N, Town of Blanchard. Her 2010 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.
