Monticello Police

On April 23:

●  At approximately 8:22 p.m., Officers were contacted by a citizen in the 100 block of N. Main Street in reference to some suspicious activity that had taken place. The subjects in question had left the area prior to the call.  

●  At approximately 11:32 p.m., Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of S. Pratt Road. Everything appeared to be okay. 

On April 24:

●  At approximately 2:46 a.m., Officers checked on some suspicious activity in the 100 block of Staedtler Ave, municipal parking lot. A subject was given a ride home.  

On April 25:

●  At approximately 2:52 p.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of State Hwy 69 for reported suspicious activity. As a result of the call, an adult male subject was escorted from the property and advised not to return.  

On April 26:

●  At approximately 1:51 p.m., Officers responded within the Village for a medical emergency call. Green County EMS and Monticello Fire First Response also responded. 

●  At approximately 6:00 p.m., Officers responded within the Village for a medical emergency call. Green County EMS and Monticello Fire First Response also responded. 

●  At approximately 9:59 p.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of S. Monroe Street for a 911 call. Officers learned that the 911 call was a misdial. Contact was made with the caller and it was confirmed that the call was a misdial. 

On April 27:

●  At approximately 6:30 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation in the area of State Hwy 69 and W. Coates Avenue. As a result of the traffic stop, Joshua P. Kuenzi, 41, Browntown was cited for Expired/Non-Registration of a motor vehicle. There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty.  

●  At approximately 6:57 p.m., Officers received a traffic complaint in the 400 block of Washington Street. While officers were monitoring the area the suspected vehicle was located. Contact was made with the driver. The driver was counseled on their driving habits. 

●  At approximately 7:09 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation in the area of E. Lake Avenue and S. Madison Street. As a result of the traffic stop Blake W. Klitzke, 18, Monticello was cited for excessive window tinting. There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty.  

On April 29:

●  At approximately 2:06 p.m., Officers received an animal complaint in the 500 block of S. Main Street. Police are trying to find the owner of the dog. There is a picture on Facebook at “Monticello Police Wisconsin.”

●  At approximately 5:28 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Park Avenue for a 911 call.  Officers made contact with the caller and confirmed that the 911 was accidental. No further action needed.
