Monroe Police

On May 14:

●  At approximately 2:25 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in 900 block of 16th Ave. Subsequent investigation resulted in Andres Cueyactle Tequiliquihua,30m Monroe, being arrested for OWI 1st offense with a passenger under the age of 16. Andres was also cited for operating without a valid driver’s license. Andres later posted a cash bond and was released to a responsible party, pending a mandatorycourt date. 

On May 15:

●  At approximately 2:37 a.m. officers responded to a report of a possible traffic crash in the 500 block of 20th Ave. Subsequent investigation resulted in Jeffrey W. Seidel, 57, Monroe, being arrested for OWI, 3rd offensel Crash investigation revealed that Jeffery was northbound on 20th Ave., when he failed to maintain control of his motor vehicle, by crossing the centerline and striking a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle on the opposing side of the roadway. Jeffrey reported wearing his seatbelt and sustaining no injuries in the crash. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Jeffrey was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle. Jeffrey later posted cash bond and was released, pending a mandatory court date. 

On May 19:

●  Officers were called to a three-vehicle accident at 2:38 a.m. with no reported injuries in the 1400 block of 17th Ave. Investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Ashlyn R. Sheafor,32 of Monroe, was southbound on 17th Ave. and collided with a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle. The second vehicle, after being collided with by Sheafor’s vehicle, collided with a third legally and unoccupied vehicle. Sheafor’s vehicle and the second vehicle sustained severe damage while the third vehicle had minor damage. Sheafor was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated -2nd offense and with three counts of bail jumping for violating bail conditions on a prior case. Sheafor was also cited for operating after revocation, operating with no insurance, inattentive driving, hit and run to an unattended vehicle, and failure to notify police of an accident. Sheafor was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance. 

●  Officers were called to a shoplifting complaint in the 1600 block of 9th at 5:51p.m. Investigation led to the arrest of Chad E. Pehl, 48, Monroe on a charge of retail theft. Pehl was also subsequently arrested on a hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probations and Parole for a violation of probation terms. Pehl was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. 

On May 22:

●  At approximately, 6:27 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of State Highway 69, city of Monroe. Subsequent investigation resulted in Patricia L. Gille, 63, Apache Junction, AZ. being arrested for OWI- 1st offense. Patricia was released to responsible party.
