Green County Sheriff
On May 28:
● At approximately 7:29 a.m. Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at 700 block of 6th St., in the Village of Albany. Following an investigation, Ashley A. Davis, 37 of Beloit, was arrested for domestic substantial battery, disorderly conduct while armed with a dangerous weapon, and damage to property. Ashley was housed at the Green County Jail pending her initial court appearance.
● At approximately 8:33 p.m. Deputies responded to the W400 block of Wis. 92, Town of Brooklyn, for a motorcycle versus deer crash with injuries. Investigation revealed the operator, Jermey Nielsen, 43, of Brooklyn, and his passenger, Jennifer McGinty, 53, were traveling westbound when a deer entered the roadway causing a collision to occur. The collision resulted in Jermey and Jennifer being ejected the motorcycle. Jermey and Jennifer were not wearing helmets, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to by ambulance from the scene. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Brooklyn Fire/EMS assisted deputies at the scene.
● At approximately 9:38 p.m., Deputies responded to N4697 CTH E (Sweet Minihaha Campground), Town of Decatur, for a report of an unwanted male refusing to leave a campsite. Investigation resulted in Michael Bahena, 32, of Fitchburg, being arrested for disorderly conduct (domestic). Michael was transported to the Green County Jail where bond was posted and he was released pending a future mandatory court date.
On May 30:
● At 1:09 a.m., Deputies conducted a welfare check on a vehicle in the W700 block of Golf Course Road, in the Town of Decatur. Investigation resulted in the operator, Alex Z. Gobeli, 21 of Beloit being cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A passenger in the vehicle, Nicolai K. Elsner Graves, 20 of Brodhead was cited for Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Graves and Gobeli were released pending court.
Monticello Police
On May 16:
● At approximately 7:08 a.m., Officers received dumping garbage bags and after-hours complaint at the Monticello Recycling Center located in the 400 block of N. Main Street. After conducting an investigation, William C. Loveland, 72, of Monticello was cited for trespassing and littering on public/private property. There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty.
