Brodhead Police

On Nov. 17:

● 12:02 p.m., Police responded to the 900 block of W Exchange St. for the report of Disorderly Conduct; a subject causing a disturbance. Contact was made and the matter was resolved. 

● 2:33 p.m., Police responded to the 1600 block of 1st Center Ave. for the report of Disorderly Conduct; a subject threatening another person. Contact was made and a warning was issued. 

On Nov 18:

● 9:32 a.m., a 93 year old Brodhead man was cited in the 800 block of 6th St. for Improper Passing of Stopped School Bus.

● 9:42 a.m., Police responded to the 1300 block of 13th St. for the report of an Animal Problem; a dog at large. Police located the dog but could not apprehend it. It was later returned home by a neighbor.

● 10:48 a.m., Police responded to the 100 block of E 3rd Ave. for the report of Littering; trash being dumped in a yard. There are no suspects at this time.

● 10:42 a.m., Police responded to the 2100 block of W 9th Ave. for two reports of Theft. Contact was made for both cases and warnings were issued.

● 2:55 p.m., Police responded to the 300 block of 3rd St. for the report of a Hit and Run Traffic Crash. This matter remains under investigation.

● 4:59p.m., Police responded to the 500 block of E 9th Ave. for the report of an Animal Problem; a dog at large. The owner was contacted and a warning was issued.

On Nov 21:

● 11:28a.m., a 41 year old Darlington woman was cited in the 100 block of 1st St. for Operating after Suspension.

● 2:36p.m., a 53 year old Evansville woman was cited in the 600 block of 1st St. for Speeding. 

● 3:06p.m., a 42 year old Batavia, IL, man was arrested in the 1000 block of W Exchange St. on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff’s Office. 

On Nov 22:

● 12:31p.m., Police responded to the 2100 block of W 9th Ave. for the report of Disorder-ly Conduct; a subject causing a disturbance. Contact was made and a warning was issued. 

● 6:11p.m., a 29 year old Brodhead man was cited in the 1100 block of E 9th Ave. for Operating without aValid Driver’s License. 

● 7:27p.m., a 25 year old Brodhead man was cited in the 100 block of E 9th Ave. for Motor Vehicl Liability Insurance / No Proof on Person. 

On Nov 24:

● 4:14p.m., Police responded to the 1000 block of 19th St for the report of an Animal Problem; dog at large. After a brief stay in doggy jail, the owner was located. 

On Nov 25:

● 5:02p.m., Police responded to the 1500 block of 1st Center Ave for the report of verbal Disorderly Conduct in a business. Contact was made and a verbal warning was issued.

On Nov. 7

● At approximately 4:20 p.m., Officers were contacted in reference to a minor motor vehicle crash that occurred in

 a parking lot.  This was in the 300 block of S. Main Street.  No injuries were reported.  A motor vehicle crash report was completed.
