On July 23:
● 12:11 a.m. A deputy responded to E Louisa St, City of Darlington to assist the Darlington Police Department with a disorderly conduct.
● 4:03 a.m. Deputies responded to W Center St, Village of South Wayne for a commercial alarm.
● 6:35 a.m. A deputy responded to Country Club Rd, Darlington Township for a 911 misdial.
● 6:37 a.m. Belmont EMS and Southwest EMS responded to STH 81, Belmont Township for a medical emergency. Deputy assisted on scene.
● 8:12 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Gratiot Township for a disabled vehicle.
● 1:56 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 23, Darlington Township for a civil dispute.
● 5:58 p.m. Benton First Response and Hazel Green EMS responded to E Main St, Village of Benton for a medical emergency.
● 6:06 p.m. A deputy responded to Holland Rd, Belmont Township for a check welfare.
6:13 p.m. Deputies responded to E Grove St, Village of South Wayne for a disorderly conduct. As a result, Julio Hernandez-Santos, 36, South Wayne was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Hernandez-Soto was transported to the Lafayette County jail where he remains in custody. The incident remains under investigation.
● 8:35 p.m. Deputies responded to Miner Way, City of Shullsburg for a disorderly conduct.
● 9:11 p.m. Jesse A Ellertson, 40, Blanchardville reported striking a deer on STH 78, Blanchard Township. Ellertson’s 2015 Toyota received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
●10:43 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH N, Town of Wiota for a 911 misdial.
●10:47 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, City of Darlington to assist the Darlington Police Department with a commercial alarm.
●11:00 p.m.A deputy responded to CTH Y, Wiota Township for a noise complaint.
● 11:31 p.m. Deputies responded to W Main St, Village of Benton for a disorderly conduct complaint.
On July 24:
●5:17 a.m A deputy responded to W Oates ST, City of Shullsburg for a traffic hazard. City of Shullsburg assisted on scene.
●10:41 a.m. A deputy responded to Flogel Ln, Town of Belmont for livestock on the roadway.
● 11:36 a.m. A deputy responded to 2nd St, Town of Wiota for a theft complaint. As a result, Chelsey F Wilde, 30, Woodford was arrested for theft and battery.Wilde was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where she remains in custody.
● 2:43 p.m. Argyle EMS responded to CTH G, Argyle Township for a medical emergency.
● 3:55 p.m. A deputy responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a disabled vehicle.
● 8:10 p.m. A deputy responded to N Lafayette St, Village of Argyle for a check welfare.
● 9:12 p.m. Brady W Smith, 17, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH E, Darlington Township. Smith’s 2015 Chrysler received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● 9:53 p.m. Deputies responded to STH 81, Town of Darlington for a one vehicle accident. Kendall T Lehman, 23, Platteville was traveling westbound on STH 81 when she lost control of her vehicle causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a guardrail. Darlington Fire Department and Lafayette County EMS assisted on scene. No injuries were reported. Lehman was cited for Operating Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated and Failure to Maintain Control.
● 10:43 p.m. A deputy responded to Valley Rd, Argyle Township for a commercial alarm.
On July 25:
● 4:23 a.m A deputy responded to W Main ST in the Village of Benton for a vehicle unlock.
● 10:29 a.m. Brian S Sigafus, 50, Gratiot reported striking a deer on STH 78, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported and Sigafus’ 2021 GMC received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Brodhead Police
On August 1:
● 5:48 a.m., Police responded to the 1800 block of W 3rd Ave. for the report of an Animal Problem; a dog running at large. No owner was located and the dog was released to the Green County Humane Society.
● 6:0 9a.m., Police responded to the 2100 block of 1st Center Ave. for the report of a Parking Complaint; subject did not return to remove their disabled vehicle. The vehicle was removed by Arn’s Towing at owner’s request.
● 1:14 p.m., a 52 year old Orfordville woman was cited in the 2100 block of 1st Center Ave. for Unsafe Backing following a Traffic Crash. -
● 2:56 p.m., Police responded to the 700 block of 17th St. for the report of Disorderly Conduct; a subject involved in a verbal altercation. Contact was made and a warning was issued.
On August 2:
● 12:59 p.m., Police responded to the 1000 block of E 9th Ave. for the report of Domestic Abuse and Fraud. Both matters remain under investigation.
On August 3:
● 2:30 p.m., Police responded to the 800 block of E Exchange St. for the report of Counterfeit; a counterfeit bill found in a deposit. This matter remains under investigation.
● 10:36 p.m., Police responded to the 1400 block of 21st St. for a Curfew Violation; juveniles out after City curfew times. Contact was made and warnings were issued.
