LaVon (Bonnie) F. Broge age 79 of Madison, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born May 19, 1933 in Monroe, WI the daughter of Robert and Helen (Hoffmaster) Broge . She graduated from Monroe High School & from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Madison. Bonnie was a Registered Nurse at Quisling Clinic and for 40 years at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was a member of St. Mary's School of Nursing Alumni Association, loved politics, traveling, time in Florida, and having lunch with her friends.

Surviving are her brothers, Gary (Judy) Broge of Madison, & William Broge of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sisters, Carol Bayrhoffer of Monticello, Joyce (Willis) Wahl of Monroe & Diane (Anthony) Jones of Juda; and several Nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by her Parents; brothers, Russell, Virgil, & Byron Broge; and sister, Sharon Jacobs.

She died surrounded by her family and best friends after a brief but defiant fight with cancer.

As per Bonnies's wishes, a private service will be held in Monroe and a friends Memorial Luncheon in Madison at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of ones choice in Bonnie's memory.
