Kim Allen Gill, 52, of Wisconsin formerly of Rock City, died Monday July 5, 2010. Born December 4, 1957 in Freeport he was the son of Robert and Clara (Grunder) Gill. He was a 1976 graduate of Dakota High School. Kim worked 11 years at the Wenger Springbrook Cheese Inc. Davis and worked on the family farm. He and Cheryl Breson were married September 4, 1998 she preceded him in death on June 1, 2007.
Surviving are his mother of Rock City; two children, Brandon (Jenna) Gill of Marshfield WI, Chad (Stephanie) Hanson of Murphysboro; two grandchildren, Zeb Hanson and Jackie Gill; one sister, Marcene Sughroue of Rock City; three brothers, Greg (Connie) Gill of Rockford, LeRoy (Vickie) Gill of Rock City, Matt (Teal) Gill of Rock City; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father, Robert and wife, Cheryl.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rock City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian LeBaron officiating.
There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be in the Rock Grove Union Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were completed by Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Dakota.
