Kenneth "Ken" L. Norder Jr., age 78, of Monroe, died on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was born on October 10, 1936 in Monroe, Wisconsin the son of Kenneth and Olga (Roth) Norder Sr. Ken was a 1954 graduate of Monroe High School.

Kenneth and Betty J. Carter were married on July 12, 1986 at St. John's United Church of Christ.

Ken was employed at the Sunbeam Bread Company, Swiss Colony and later worked for Minhas Craft Brewery in Monroe.

In Ken's younger years he was an avid baseball player and tried out for the Milwaukee Braves. He also was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed golf.

Ken was a member of the Monroe Lion's Club.

Ken is survived by his wife, Betty of Monroe; son, Keith (Cheryl) Norder of Menomonie, WI; daughters, Ellen (Dick) Marty of Monroe, step-daughter, Carrie Carter; brother, William Norder of Monroe; grandchildren: Alli and Amy.

Ken is predeceased by his parents, and sister, Judith Carter.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Pastor David Busker officiating.

A visitation will be Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
