MOUNT HOREB - Judith A. "Judy" Escalona, age 75 of Mt. Horeb/Monroe, WI passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare with family at her side.
She was born March 17, 1942 in Monroe, WI to Carson and Marian (Howe) Hunt.
Judy was a lifelong, hardworking waitress in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Judy was a loving, caring and strong willed person. She lived for family gatherings and good times. Her favorite things in life were her pets, feeding and watching the birds, the outdoors, cooking and ice cream. Judy was forever reorganizing her purse and was always willing to debate politics.
She will forever be loved and missed.
Survivors include her children: Jay Ingwell of Barneveld, Jody (Kelly Schauf) Ingwell of Barneveld, Vince (Amy Foss) Ingwell, Carson (Tiffany) Escalona both of Mt. Horeb, grandchildren: Amber, Alan, and Cody Ingwell, Carson II, Landun, and Gabriel Escalona, two great-grandchildren: Sammy and Amaiya Griffin, her sister: Beverly VanWagnen of Monroe, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers: Jerome "Spud" Hunt, Carson "Gachi" Hunt.
A celebration of life will be from 2-7 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Friendly Inn, 1335-17th. Street, Monroe, WI.
