WINSLOW - Joyce A. Streckwald, age 73, passed away on Wednesday January 11, 2012 at FHN Hospital. She was born on September 11, 1938 in Monroe, WI to Lloyd and Evelyn (Parmer) Salzwedel. She married Ronald Streckwald on May 1, 1960 in Monroe, WI. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena. Joyce loved her family and grandchildren and devoted her life to them.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Streckwald of Winslow, IL; 3 Sons- Bret (Sheena) of East Dubuque, IL, Blaine of Freeport, IL and Kip (Anita) of Lena, IL; 4 Grandchildren- Breann, Bryce, Jordan and Drew. 1 Brother- Eugene (Nancy) Salzwedel of Monroe, WI; 1 Sister; Darlene (LeRoy) Bidlingmeier of Monroe, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers in infancy.
Funeral service will be held Saturday January 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena.
Visitation will be on Friday January 13, 2012 from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena.
Officiating will be Rev. Rick Bader.
Interment will be in Rock Lily Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her name.
