HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - Jeffrey Allen Haberman, age 50, of Hudsonville, Mich., passed away very unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Haberman, Sr.; step-father, Hank Tessendorf; sister, Barbara Bandi; and sisters-in-law, Lynn Haberman and Shirley Haberman.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years, Peggy (Kethcart) Haberman; children, Kellie McDonald, Kyle (Mary) Haberman, and Carrie Haberman; granddaughter, Jocelyn Haberman; his mother, Marjorie Tessendorf; siblings, Jim Haberman, Larry (Kathy) Haberman, Richard (Teresa) Haberman, Dennis (Cindy) Haberman, Robert Haberman, Jr., Vicki (Rick) Dix, and Brian Haberman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jeff was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was willing to help with an extended hand to anyone in need.

A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Feb. 10, with a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Bread of Life Church, 3570 Baldwin Dr., Hudsonville, with Pastor Jay Schrimpf officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions be made to an education fund for Jeff's granddaughter, Jocelyn Haberman.
