Janine R. Schramm age 67 of Monroe, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe. Janine was born October 5, 1945 in Franklin Park, IL, the daughter of Ruben F. and Helen C. (Figge) Englert. She graduated from Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL. Janine married Gary Schramm in November 1972. The couple farmed in Green County for many years and most recently Janine worked as a secretary for the Iroquois Foundry in Browntown. She was a member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, Monroe.

Janine is survived by three children, David (Pamela) Schramm of Belleville, Stephanie (Bill) Kruse of Orangeville, IL, and Jim Schramm (fiancée, Jodi Kendall) both of Green Bay; two grandsons, Jerrit and Devin Schramm; and a brother, John Englert of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sheila Verdone.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, Monroe, with Pastor Donald Schwarz officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, January 19th from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. A memorial fund will be established. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
