Janet M. Rusch, age 79, of Monroe, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home. She was born on September 10, 1936 in Monroe, the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Trumpy) Rusch and graduated from New Trier High School in Winnettka, Illinois.
Janet and her parents lived on the Clarno Corners farm for several years, moved to Iron Mountain, MI for 3 years; and later made their home in Wilmette, IL. She returned to Monroe in 1999.
Janet worked many years at Rotary International, in Evanston, IL; maintaining data bases of donors.
Janet retired from Rotary International to take care of her mother, where she continued her hobby of collecting art, figurines, horses, and with a special interest in gardening and her pet cats.
She is survived by her brother, Richard (Margaret) Rusch of Littleton, CO; nephew, Randall Rusch of Leander, TX; nieces, Ruth Fladerman of Lake Mary, FL; Rhonda Hawkins of Mesa, AZ; and Renee McCauley of Estes Park, CO.
She is predeceased by her Parents; and sister, Margaret.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery, with Pastor David Busker officiating. A visitation will be held Monday, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home.
