Jane M. McKenna age 67 of Monroe, Wisconsin, formerly of Browntown, died Friday, January 8, 2010 at her home. She was born March 20, 1942 in Burlington, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Edna (Rufenacht) Hendrickson and attended Monroe, WI Schools.
Jane and Duane McKenna were married in 1957 in Monroe, WI. Jane worked for Theiler Plumbing in Browntown, WI for many years and later had a Day-Care in her home in Browntown. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe.
Surviving are her mother, Edna Kramer of Monroe, WI; son, Mike (Jolene) McKenna of Freeport, IL; daughter, Kathy (Jim) Becker of Monroe, WI; grandchildren, Matt (Meghan) McKenna, Hilary (Dan) Stone, Nicole (Nick Baker) McKenna, and Brianna & Brittney Becker; great-grandchildren, Adeline & Jack Stone, Caleb McKenna, and Kaiden Baker; and her companion cats, Spooky, Oreo, & Misty. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Hendrickson; brothers, Robert & William Hendrickson; and sisters, Anna Mae Nelson & Eunice Lyne.
A Celebration of Jane's Life will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue in Monroe, WI with Rev. Gretchen Sylvester officiating.
A Memorial Fund is being established in Jane's memory.
