STOUGHTON - Jane Hall Haney, age 83, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was born on January 11, 1928 in Watertown, NY, the daughter of Wells and Anna (Gauthier) Hall. Jane was a teacher who taught in New York, Indiana, Wisconsin and Ohio, and retired in 1990. She married her beloved Leonard J. Haney in August 1950. Jane loved her family, friends and teaching. She is survived by her four daughters, Kathleen Faith Barnett of Stoughton, Dorothy (Michael) Troyer of Ripon, Sue (Greg) Chapman of Brodhead and Theresa (Pepi Diaz Salazar) Haney of Red Hook, NY; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Robert Hall of Youngstown, NY. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, on January 21, 1992; her son, Michael, on December 9, 1976; and sister, Loretta LaRock. A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 13, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerard Healy officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following the services, in the church fellowship hall. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Private family burial will take place in Monroe at a later date. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
