BELLEVILLE - James Lee Fritsch, age 71, of Dayton passed away on March 16, 2016. He was born on March 14, 1945 at Monroe, WI to his parents George and Alice (Frauchiger) Fritsch. James grew up in Juda and attended Juda Schools. On August 2, 1967 he was united in marriage to Martha Boeck at St. John's Methodist Church in Belleville. James worked at Crandall Inc. in Monroe and also at Exeter Pork for Herb Blaser. Each spring for many years James tilled gardens for people around the area.
James is survived by his sons David (Tina) Fritsch, Belleville, WI and Jeff (Angela) Fritsch, Verona, WI, and daughter Rhonda Walmer, Monroe, WI. He is further survived by grandchildren Matthew Maier, Raegan Walmer, and Alex Fritsch, and a brother Don Fritsch, Centralia, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Fritsch, and sister Dorothy Friedly.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.
A gathering of family and friends will precede the memorial service from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
