Jack L. Rowley, 66, of Orangeville, IL, passed away on Sunday September 24, 2017, peacefully at home. He was born October 26, 1950 in Dixon, IL, the son of Dale and Carol Lee (Willstead) Rowley. He was a 1970 graduate of Lanark High School, Lanark, IL. Jack married his high school sweetheart, Rozalyn M. Welp on June 20, 1998. Jack was a lifelong truck driver, whose hobbies included horseback riding and tinkering with his tractors. He was a fan of country music, westerns, and NCIS. Jack enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events.

Survivors include his wife, Rozalyn Rowley of Orangeville, IL; two sons, Chad (Kristy) Murphy of Franklin Grove, IL, and Derek (Kristin) Rowley of Oswego, IL; two step-daughters, Angela Lydon (Matthew) Strand of South Beloit, IL, and Libby (Josh) Rhodes of Orangeville, IL; seven grandchildren, Sawyer, Zane, Taylor, Tyler, Madyson, Hunter and Hudson; three nephews, Nick, Ted, and Drew Rowley; brother-in-law, Randy Welp of Lanark, IL; mother-in-law, Wilma Meland of Monroe, WI; and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased in death by his grandparents, parents, and brother Rick Rowley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday October 8, 2017 at Brush Creek Golf Course, 2001 W. St. James Road, Orangeville, IL 61060. Schwarz Funeral Home, 816 S. Galena Ave, Freeport, IL, assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be shared at www.schwarzfh.com
