Irma R. Golackson, age 85, died on March 21, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 26, 1929, daughter of Emil H. Buehler and Annie (Olson-Vinger) Buehler. Irma and Robert Golackson were married on July 24, 1950 at Jordan Lutheran Church.
Irma worked for the Monroe Clinic for 32 years. After her retirement, she continued to take care of people in their own homes. One of her greatest joys in life was helping others. She was an exceptional caregiver and will be sadly missed by the many people she worked with and their families. Irma also loved to travel, antiquing, dancing and especially her annual July birthday parties. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends including a special friend, Robert Wuetrich.
She is survived by six children, Robert Golackson, Richard (Deb) Golackson, Ron Golackson, Randy Golackson, Rodney Golackson and Rita (Vic) Benkert and one sister Charlene LaDow.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Golackson, parents, one child, Russell Golackson, sister, Lila Benson and two brothers Henry Buehler and Ernest Buehler.
Friends may call at The Moose Lodge on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 12:00-3:00 for a Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Monroe Clinic Hospice for their excellent care and support to her and her family.
