DAVIS - Howard E. Moellenberndt, age 86, passed away on March 15, 2017 while at Graceland Manor Assisted Living in Monroe.
Howard was born on December 14, 1930 in Schaumburg, IL the son of Elmer and Mary (Fenske) Moellenberndt.
Howard lived and farmed in Spring Grove for 23 years since 1947 and later was the custodian at St. Paul Church of Epleyanna in Davis for over 32 years.
Howard is survived by one brother, Wallace (Mercedes) Moellenberndt of Cottage Grove, WI; 3 nephews, Mike (Karen) Moellenberndt of Monroe, Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt of Sun Prairie and James (Martie) Moellenberndt of Grand Island, NE and a niece, Mary Lange of Knoxville, TN.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ervin.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Church of Epleyanna, 8800 E. Epleyanna Road, Davis IL on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will also take place at the church on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Pastor Scott Naevestad and Pastor Dick Thompson will officiate. Burial will conclude at the church cemetery.
