Henry J. Snyder
Henry J. (Hank) Snyder, 77, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 in Monroe, WI.
He was born April 29, 1931 in La Crosse, WI, to Charles and Frances (Dunham) Snyder. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Orleck. Hank married Regina (Jean) Gschwind on October 1, 1955. He was retired from the Trane Company.
He is survived by his wife, Regina, of Monroe; two daughters, Cindy (Gary) Wittenberg of La Crosse and Regina Kane of Madison. In addition, he is survived by three granddaughters, Jenny Kane, Katy Wittenberg and Molly Wittenberg, along with a great-granddaughter, Emma Buchner, all of La Crosse.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, June 12, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Memorials are preferred.
Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
