Helen I. Stuart, age 91, of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Monday, June 16, 2008 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe. She was born March 13, 1917 at Verona, WI, the daughter of Fredric and Rosalie (Leibundgut) Ingold. She graduated from Monroe High School.
Helen and Robert W. Stuart were married on February 22, 1941 in Dubuque, Iowa. Helen worked beside her husband as a bookkeeper for Stuart Printing for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe and Monroe Country Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Caryl (Jerome) Dilettuso of Highland Park, TX; granddaughter, Melissa (Timothy) Stewart of New York, NY; great-grandchildren, William and Madeleine Stewart of New York, NY; brother, Charles F. Ingold Sr., sisters, Dorothy Goecks and Hedy Swiggum, all of Monroe; also 15 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; sister, Clara Montgomery; and sister-in-law, Marion Kowalczyk.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at ST. JOHN'S UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST in Monroe with Rev. William T. Mike Heath officiating. Private family burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
A memorial fund is being established in Helen's memory.
