BELOIT/ORFORDVILLE - Geraldine Fay (Williams) Doubler, age 78, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Beloit Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 21, 1936 in South Wayne, the daughter of Merlyn J. and Erma (Boeck) Williams.
Geraldine and Harry L. Doubler were married on June 6, 1954 in South Wayne. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1998.
Geraldine and her husband owned and operated a hardware store in Orfordville, WI during the 1970's. Later she worked at the Coast to Coast Store in Brodhead, WI. She loved watching the Badger and Packer football games on TV, as well as Nascar. She volunteered her time in making afghans for those in need.
Geraldine is survived by her two sons, Daniel Doubler of Forest City, Iowa, and Brian Doubler of Beloit; brother, Tony Williams of Siloam Springs, AR., and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Ruby.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Warren, Illinois.
Newcomer-Silverthorn Chapel on the Hill, Orfordville assisted the family with arrangements.
