MONROE - Monroe Fire Department responded to a manufacturing machine on fire at about 10:21 a.m. Wednesday at Orchid International, 350 21st St., Monroe.
Firefighters extinguished the fire within minutes of arrival and then ventilated smoke from the building.
Six trucks and 24 firefighters responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
