Monroe Police

MONROE - The Monroe Fire Department was dispatched to a fire alarm at Aster Retirement Community, 616 8th Ave., at 7:32 p.m. Monday, June 3. It was a false alarm. There was no fire.

An ambulance was dispatched:

• At 7:34 a.m. Friday, May 31, to the 1500 block of 30th Avenue.

• At 11:59 a.m. Friday, May 31, to the 1100 block of 9th Street.

• At 5:50 p.m. Friday, May 31, to the 200 block of 3rd Street.

• At 7:39 a.m. Saturday, June 1, to the 2000 block of 4th Street.

• At 7:21 p.m. Sunday, June 2, to the 2000 block of 9th Street.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Fire and Police Departments responded to a residence on 3rd Street for a smoke alarm going off at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

• New Glarus Area EMS and police responded to a residence in the village at 1:21 p.m. Friday, May 31.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Argyle Ambulance, Monroe Ambulance, Argyle police and a deputy responded to Everson Road in Argyle Township at 4:09 p.m. Friday, May 31.

• Shullsburg Ambulance and a deputy responded to Estey Street in Shullsburg at 5:28 a.m. Saturday, June 1.
