DARLINGTON - Shullsburg Ambulance responded to West Estey Street in Shullsburg at 3:59 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11.

• Rural Medical Ambulance responded to Lafayette Manor, 719 E. Catherine St., at 4:57 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11.

• Argyle Ambulance responded to Monroe Street in Argyle at 8:13 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

• Rural Medical Ambulance responded to Keep Street in Darlington at 5:27 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

• Rural Medical Ambulance responded to Fayette Road in Darlington at 6:42 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

• Belmont Ambulance responded to West State Street in Belmont at 2:13 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13.

• Shullsburg Ambulance responded to West Estey Street in Shullsburg at 6:02 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13.



Monroe Police

MONROE - An ambulance was dispatched:

• At 2:03 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, to the 500 block of West 21st Street.

• At 2:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, to the Swiss Wheel Rooming House, 1100 30th St.

• At 3:48 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, to the 1900 block of 12th Street.

• At 12:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, to the 2000 block of 4th Street.

• At 5:54 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, to the 2300 block of 17th Avenue.



Monroe Fire Department

MONROE - Police took a report of a house with smoke coming out of it at 1:26 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, in the 600 block of 17th Avenue. A member of the Monroe Fire Department checked it out and discovered the "smoke" was actually steam from a dryer vent.

• Firefighters were dispatched at about 3:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, to an attached garage on fire at a residence in the W4300 block of County FF in the Town of Sylvester. Initial reports were of a garage with smoke coming from the backside. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to the home. Assistance came from fire departments in Brodhead, New Glarus, Browntown, Monticello and Juda. Fire departments in Orangeville, Freeport and Cedarville, Ill., maintained coverage for Monroe in the case of another call coming in. Green County deputies assisted with traffic control, and the Green County Highway Department brought a salt truck.
