MONROE - An ambulance responded at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct 11, to the 900 block of 2nd Street
• The Monroe Fire Department responded at 2:57 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, to the 300 block of 2nd Street for report of smoke in an apartment. No actual fire was found, and the source of the smoke was discovered to be old food smoldering under a stove top.

• The Platteville Fire Department responded at 8:43 a.m. to a corn dryer fire on West Mound Road in the Town of Belmont.
• The Woodford Fire Department responded at 2:58 p.m. to a fire on Pleasant Road in the Town of Wiota.
