NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On Nov. 1, the New Glarus Fire Department responded at 3:21 p.m. to a fire alarm in the 1400 block of 2nd Street. The alarm was likely set off by a faulty smoke detector, the department determined.

On Saturday:

• New Glarus Area EMS responded at 12:02 a.m. with a lift assist at the Glarner Lodge.

• New Glarus Area EMS responded at 7:14 p.m. to a medical call in the 200 block of Wis. 69.

• Rural Medical Ambulance Service responded at 8:49 a.m. to a medical emergency on Fayette Road in Darlington.

• Woodford First Response, Argyle Ambulance Service and Monroe Ambulance Service responded at 9:15 a.m. to a medical emergency on County M, Town of Wiota.

• The Gratiot Fire Department responded at 11:17 a.m. to a field fire on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

• Shullsburg Ambulance Service responded at 3:04 p.m. to a lift assist on West Estey Street in Shullsburg.

• Shullsburg Ambulance Service responded at 7:30 p.m. to a medical emergency on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

• Rural Medical Ambulance Service responded at 11:16 p.m. to a medical emergency on Fayette Road in Darlington.

• Cuba City Ambulance Service responded at 7:07 p.m. on County H, Town of Benton.
