Monroe PoliceMONROE - An ambulance was dispatched:- At 6:55 a.m. Friday, July 27, to the 300 block of 6th Avenue West.- At 6:13 p.m. Friday, July 27, to the 200 block of 3rd Street.- At 11:35 p.m. Saturday, July 28, to the 1000 block of 2nd Street North.MONROE - The Monroe Fire Department was dispatched Friday, July 27:- At 5:45 p.m. to a fire in the basement of a house in the 2800 block of 10th Avenue. A dryer caught fire from excessive lint build-up. Firefighters removed the dryer and clothes, hosed down clothing on the lawn and ventilated the home.- At 7:17 p.m. to a report of a smoke smell on the second floor of Monroe Clinic, 2005 5th St.
