MONROE - An ambulance was dispatched:
- At 6:55 a.m. Friday, July 27, to the 300 block of 6th Avenue West.
- At 6:13 p.m. Friday, July 27, to the 200 block of 3rd Street.
- At 11:35 p.m. Saturday, July 28, to the 1000 block of 2nd Street North.
MONROE - The Monroe Fire Department was dispatched Friday, July 27:
- At 5:45 p.m. to a fire in the basement of a house in the 2800 block of 10th Avenue. A dryer caught fire from excessive lint build-up. Firefighters removed the dryer and clothes, hosed down clothing on the lawn and ventilated the home.
- At 7:17 p.m. to a report of a smoke smell on the second floor of Monroe Clinic, 2005 5th St. The smoke originated in the kitchen area, and the area was ventilated.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Fire Department was dispatched at 2:30 a.m. Monday, July 23, to Glarner Drive for a commercial fire alarm. No fire was located, and the alarm was reset.
- New Glarus EMS was dispatched at 4:28 p.m. Monday, July 23, to a call within the village.
- New Glarus Area EMS, New Glarus First Response and the New Glarus Fire Department were dispatched at 8:21 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, to a call within the village.
- Police were dispatched at 5:37 p.m. Thursday, July 26, to a report that a juvenile had a laceration on his head as a result of a possible altercation. An investigation revealed the injury was not intentional. A group of juveniles were trying to perform stunts on bicycles and scooters when a scooter struck one juvenile in the head. New Glarus EMS transported the person to an area hospital.
- New Glarus Area EMS was dispatched at 4:50 p.m. Friday, July 27, to a call on 14th Avenue.
