Ella M. Gobeli, age 90, of Browntown, died on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at her home. She was born on March 23, 1919 the daughter of Frank and Dora (Burrington) Parmer in Cadiz Twsp. She attended school in Browntown. Ella married John C. Gobeli on December 31, 1966 at the Little Brown Church.
She is survived by her godson, whom she raised since birth, LeRoy (Mary) Parmer of Arena, WI; 5 step-sons, Wendell Gobeli of East Lyme, CT, Ivan (Marlene) Gobeli of Monroe, WI, Walter (Nellie) Gobeli of Davenport, IA, James (Judy) Gobeli of Argyle, WI, John (Sandy) Gobeli of Monroe, WI; stepdaughter, Wanda Kline of Oconomowoc, WI; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brothers, Raymond, Robert, Edwin, Richard, Louis, Wilbur and William; 2 step-brothers, Harold Niles and Harold Parmer; and a grandchild, John.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Peace United Church of Christ in Browntown with Rev. Ray Sowersby officiating. Burial will follow at Saucerman Cemetery.
A visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Peace United Church of Christ.
