Dorothy Webster, age 95 of Monroe, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at New Glarus Nursing Home. She was born on January 22, 1917 in rural Lafayette County, the daughter of Benjamin and Eva (Rodebough) Goodman. Dorothy married Arlo W. Webster on February 16, 1935 in Monroe. She worked at Ruf's Confectionery for 25 years, retiring in 1989.

She is survived by 7 children: Gayle Bull of Mineral Point, Karen (Constant) Wehinger of Monroe, Lavonne Roselli of Clearwater, FL, Katherine Kauk of Albany, Rosalie (Arnold) Wieser of New Glarus, James (Ruth) Webster of Burlington, WI, and Evelyn Gilbert of Reno, NV; a sister, Sue Minder of Browntown; 33 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers: Martin and Charles Goodman; 2 sisters: Thelma Cary and Audrey Schliem; son-in-laws: James Bull, Richard Kauk, Mike Roselli, and Paul Gilbert.

Per Dorothy's wishes, private graveside services will be held at Union cemetery in South Wayne. Shriner-Hager-Gohlke funeral home is assisting the family.
