Donna L. Glendenning, age 75, of Monroe, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 surrounded by family, at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on February 23, 1939 in Monroe, WI, the daughter of Edward and Sylvia (Brugger) Ensch. Donna graduated from Shullsburg High School, UW Platteville and UW Whitewater.

Donna and Richard Glendenning were married on December 19, 1960 in Platteville, WI.

Donna worked as an office manager for Dr. Rotblatt, DDS Oral Surgeon, assisted with the developmentally disabled at Greenco Industries, taught Art at Monroe Junior High and Monroe High School and worked in the Audio Visual Department at Monroe High School.

Donna was a member at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Jaycettes and a volunteer at the St. Clare Hospital Gift shop. In addition to being a devoted mother and wife, she was active throughout the years volunteering in many capacities at the Monroe High School. She had a green thumb especially devoted to growing her African Violets. She enjoyed spending summers with Dick at their cabin in Holcombe, WI and visits there from family and friends. She also took pleasure in family vacations as well as camping and fishing trips. Together she and Dick played Bridge, curled and bowled with friends throughout the years.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Patricia) Glendenning of Green Bay; Brent (Amy) Glendenning of DeForest; daughter Ann (John) Malooly of Salt Lake City, UT; brothers David (Mary) Ensch of Madison; Michael Ensch of Shullsburg; grandchildren: Caitlin, Tony and Dan Glendenning and Erin and Grace Malooly. She is also survived by her nieces Julia and Cathrine Ensch.

She is predeceased by her parents and husband Richard.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church with Fr. Michael E. Klarer Celebrant.

Visitation will be Friday, January 23rd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Drive and N. 18th Ave. Monroe, WI.
