Donald H. Cunningham age 83 of Clinton died Wednesday Jan. 6, 2010 at Mercy Living Center South - Harmony House in Clinton. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:30 am at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday 2-5 pm at the funeral home, where a 4:30 pm Scottish Rite Rose Croix service will be held.  Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.

Donald was born on Aug. 23, 1926 in Monroe, WI, the son of Hayes "Doc" and Grace (Hansen) Cunningham. He married Lorraine Eggers in 1957 in Clinton, she died in 1981. He then married Barbara Gross in 1983 in Clinton.  He worked at KROS radio station in Clinton for over 8 years. He later worked at the Clinton Herald, where he was with the advertising staff in 1960, retail manager in 1966, and advertising director in 1974; he retired in 1988. Donald was a member and former member of the following local and national organizations; International Newspaper Advertising and Marketing Executives, 50 year member of Clinton Scottish Rite Bodies, Emulation Lodge #255, Operation Pride of Clinton, Inc., vice president of Clinton Jaycees, president of Clinton Pony League, president of Clinton Lions Club, president of Clinton Lyons Club, president and executive secretary treasurer of Valley Oaks Men's Assoc., Valley Oaks Pro-Am Committee since 1979 and Chairman from 1985-1992, and United States Golf Association.

Donald is survived by his son, Scott (Linda) Cunningham of Windsor, CO; and a grandson, Andrew Cunningham of Windsor, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lorraine. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
