Tessie Giackino, 91, formerly of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010. A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m., Monday Dec. 6, at St. Elizabeth Manor, Footville. The D.L. Newcomer Funeral Home, Brodhead, is assisting the family.

Frances A. Pfund, 95 of Durand, formerly of Monroe, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at her home. Arrangements are pending with Shriner-Hager-Gohlke funeral home.
