James E. Connors, 88, Monroe, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church, 1760 14th St., Monroe, with Father Larry Bakke as celebrant. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Monroe. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is in charge of arrangements.

John D. Timm, 84, Brodhead, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at the D.L. Newcomer Funeral Home, Brodhead. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home Saturday, Aug 23.
