ORANGEVILLE - David J. Kloepping, age 57 of Orangeville, IL, passed away unexpectedly of complications from a major stroke on July 31, 2014 surrounded by his immediate family at Rockford Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 2, 1957 in Freeport, IL to Delbert and Wilma (Mains) Kloepping. He graduated from Orangeville High School in 1975. He was employed by Brush Creek Golf Course in Orangeville. David was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, loved to golf and ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. David was a history enthusiast, who especially enjoyed learning about WWI and WWII. He had his pilot's license and enjoyed flying.

He is survived by his parents Delbert and Wilma Kloepping of Monroe, WI; brothers and sisters - Michael (Pamela) Kloepping of Lebanon, IL, Vicki (Shan) Mac Adam of Freeport, IL, Pamela Rupnow of Monroe, WI, Kathy (Gerald) Seffrood of Monroe, WI and twin brother Dennis (Barbara) Kloepping of Marshall, WI. He is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 till 8:00 PM on Sunday August 3, 2014 and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home in Orangeville, IL.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday August 4, 2014 at the Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home.

Officiating will be his brother Rev. Michael Kloepping.

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL.

A luncheon will follow the graveside services at the Brush Creek Golf Course in Orangeville.

By his wishes, David was an organ donor with Gift of Hope.

A memorial has been established in his name for the Brush Creek Golf Course.
