DARLINGTON - A Darlington man with four previous convictions of driving while intoxicated was arrested again Sunday, June 3, on the same charge.
Paul E. Jacobsen, 48, was arrested at about 6:25 p.m. following a traffic stop on Main Street in Darlington, according to the Darlington Police Department.
He was jailed and faces a Class H felony charge of operating while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense) in Lafayette County Circuit Court.
State court records indicate Jacobsen's past drunk driving convictions include offenses in July 2000, May 2003 and August 2007.
