An editorial printed on Dec. 8, 2009, suggested City Attorney Rex Ewald was responsible for writing the job description for the Monroe city administrator position for the city's Salary and Personnel Committee. This information was reported incorrectly. A Times story published July 30, 2009, stated, "Ewald was in attendance to address the benefits and limitations of combining the duties of city administrator and city attorney" at a special meeting of Common Council held Tuesday July 29, 2009.
