In an article Tuesday, the Monroe Times reported that the City of Monroe Revolving Loan fund had not made a direct loan, meaning without participating bank involvement, since its inception. The Times received information Tuesday that the RLF has made two direct loans in the past, one in January 1994 to Roth Kase for $300,000; and again in August 1996 to The Mitek Group-MTX for $100,000.

The Times regrets the error.
